This proved it was some error on CDPR’s part and not the users. After installing their games via their physical copies and updating to patch 1.51, it corrupted the game as well. After a few minutes, a dozen replies came around saying the same thing as well. I created one in order to get noticed by the developers. To rest my fears completely, I went to the official forums of CDPR to check on forum threads that would explain the issue. Fortunately, it went through so it was not my disc drive. To test my theory, I installed another heavy game, which was Resident Evil Village, and patched it with a big update as well. ![]() Or it could also be due to the newest update. I was worried that it was due to my PS4 Slim’s disc drive having reading issues or worse, my newly installed hard drive got some bad sectors already. I have tried three times now and it still says the same thing. It then asks us to delete the game and install it again. For some reason, it popped up an error message afterwards: After painstakingly downloading the large patch (version 1.51 for ours), which was about the size of the base game and installing the game again, we tried to launch it. Some PS4 owners (including me) have recently installed back and updated their physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077 in order to try out the new content and how well it runs on the console. Unfortunately, one particular platform is having problems after they installed it. ![]() After the recent REDStream by CD Projekt RED, it was revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5 is now available on all platforms.
